- These are the recommended feeding amounts based on the ideal body condition for kittens and pregnant/nursing adult cats of various weights. Individual cats’ energy requirements may differ. Adjust the amount fed to help your cat reach or maintain an optimal weight. Keep fresh drinking water available at all times, provide plenty of exercise, and see your veterinarian regularly.
- Every cup of NUTRO food is nutrient-dense, so your cat gets the right amount of calories in a complete and nutritious meal.
- To help maintain freshness, seal the bag tightly and store it in a cool, dry location.
- Kittens: Serve dry or slightly moistened in multiple meals throughout the day.
- Pregnancy/Lactation: During pregnancy, offer 50% more, and during lactation, offer at least two to three times more than the amount shown for kittens 40 to 52 weeks of age.
- Transitioning to NUTRO Food
- If feeding NUTRO cat food for the first time or changing recipes, we recommend blending increasing amounts of the new recipe with your current cat food for six days.
